My Vision

The question of personal expression in music has always fascinated me.

From medieval chants through strict Viennese forms to 21st century gesticulation,

different genres through the ages shaped modern western music.

That's my main specialty.

Gamelan, Maqam, East-European folk, Jewish Hazzanut, vernacular music,

all those were shaped by cultures that matter too.

Now it's our job to make it our music.
